Please note: All Pensara programmes are general education and information organisation only. Nothing presented constitutes personalised financial or legal advice, nor any interpretation of your individual entitlement. Questions requiring regulated practice are referred to an appropriately qualified professional.

WHY PENSARA
What attending a programme covers
Document Literacy
Learn what each section of a scheme statement ordinarily records, so you can read your own with confidence rather than setting it aside unread.
Records Organisation
Build a personal or household filing structure for contribution records, employment history and related correspondence that remains accessible for years.
Informed Conversations
Know which questions to put to a qualified professional. Arriving with an organised file and clear questions makes regulated consultations more productive.
Family Preparedness
Support older relatives by helping them locate, organise and understand which documents matter and where they should be kept for future reference.
Institutional Confidence
Equip your member-facing staff or volunteer facilitators to deliver consistent, compliant education sessions without crossing into regulated territory.
Clear Boundaries
Every programme explicitly identifies where general education ends and where regulated advice begins, so participants know precisely what they are receiving.

COMMON QUESTIONS
What people ask before attending
What exactly is covered in the open workshop?
The workshop walks through the standard layout of a retirement scheme statement — the sections you typically find, what the fields ordinarily record, and which ones you should keep your own parallel note of. We use a sample statement built from published templates. We do not look at or comment on any participant's actual statement during the session.
Will you tell me how much my pension is worth?
No. Pensara programmes are general education only. We explain how documents are structured and what fields record, not what any individual's entitlement is or will be. For questions about your personal situation, we provide a written list of the types of qualified professional who handle those matters.
How often are the open workshops held?
Open workshops run monthly, typically on a Saturday morning, at our George Town office. Groups are kept small — usually eight to twelve participants — so that there is time for questions. Dates for the coming two months are confirmed by enquiry.
Can the family coaching sessions be done online?
Yes. The five private sessions can be conducted in person at our George Town office or entirely online. Many families choose online for the later sessions once the initial filing structure has been set up at the first in-person meeting.
What does the institutional programme include for facilitators?
The three-day train-the-facilitator series covers how to deliver each of the twelve session decks, how to manage participant questions without straying into regulated territory, and how to recognise when a member's question needs referral to a qualified professional. A governance note outlining these boundaries is included as a written reference.
Is the RM 510 workshop fee per person?
Yes, RM 510 is the per-person fee for the two-and-a-half hour open workshop and includes all printed materials — the annotated sample statement, personal records worksheet, glossary sheet and question list. Payment is settled before the session.
